The Reverend Bryan E. Robertson

The Reverend Bryan E. Robertson is the embodiment of consecration, anointing, gifting and humility. A servant with an accurate prophetic anointing, a humble preaching mantle and a spirit-filled musical gift, he is an exceptional benefit to the body of Christ. A native of Newark, New Jersey, Elder Robertson began playing the piano at age 12, gave his life to Christ at the age of 14 and by the age of 20 was using his gift and love of music in the service of the Lord.

He began his formal ministry service under the leadership of Apostle Ralph Nichol, in Deliverance Evangelistic Centers, Inc., in Newark, New Jersey, founded by Apostle Arturo Skinner. While in Deliverance, Pastor served in many capacities and ministries to include, the Usher Board, Singles and Men’s Ministries, as well as Minster of Music for both the Youth and Adult Choirs. Also, while serving in Deliverance, Pastor Robertson worked with the Deliverance Prison Ministries for many years serving numerous Prison Chaplains. While in Deliverance, he was ordained to the Gospel Ministry as a Minister of the Gospel in 1991.

After a brief transition in his ministry service, in 2004 the Lord led Elder Robertson to Shekinah Glory Christian Church, in Newark, New Jersey, where Bishop Loretta Smith-Johnson is the Senior Pastor. With a willing servant’s heart, it didn’t take long before he was positioned on the Elder’s Board and working with the Music Ministry. After years of committed service, he currently serves as the head of Music Ministry and shares the responsibility of Head Elder with his wife. He also serves and supports the ministerial development of other churches, and when time permits, composes his own music. In 2016, he was installed as an Associate Pastor in Shekinah Glory Christin church and was assigned to assist as the Interim Dean of Kingdom Life Cathedral in Scotch Plains, NJ, under the Senior Pastorate of Bishop Kelvin C. Brooks; where he continues to serve today.

Pastor Robertson has spent a great deal of time over the years engaging in ongoing training and education, both ecclesiastically and professionally. He has received training in various disciplines while under Bishop Johnson in Shekinah Glory Christian Church, and has attended and graduated from Deliverance Bible School, DeVry Technical Institute, and the Institute of Business and Technology. Professionally, he has worked for Verizon Communications for over 20 years as a Facilities Technician.

At his core and most simply, Pastor Bryan Robertson is a complete worshipper and perpetual praiser; a fact confirmed by his personal life scripture, Psalm 34:1, “I will bless the Lord at all times, His praise shall continually be in my mouth.” Above all, he is most blessed by the life and ministry he shares with his beloved wife, The Reverend Janice Robertson and his two precious daughters, Brittany and Jada.
